Airtel To Deepen Internet Connections Via Data Terminals


Airtel Telecommunications Company, has taken a new move towards deepening broadband accessibility and availability in the country.
The new move is based on the telecoms operator’s realisation that, despite having over 98 million connected devices in Nigeria, access to affordable, effortless and seamless unlimited broadband Internet experience still remain a major concern to many users.
According to the telecoms company, a lot of people use multiple devices in order to get access to Internet at work, home or while socializing with friends, the unveiling of Home Broadband Service by the telco will make connection more enjoyable.
Chief Commercial Officer, Airtel Nigeria, Ahmad Mohkles, said the introduction of the new proposition was in line with the telco’s commitment to deepen Internet connectivity as well as empower telecoms consumers to share data with a number of people without worrying about cost and other limitations.
According to him, “The new Airtel Home Broadband delivers superfast broadband service via data terminals such as dongle, MiFi and routers as it comes in various packages and affordable price range to suit the lifestyles of different customer segments.”
Mohkles said Airtel was changing the paradigm, breaking new frontiers and inspiring new behaviour as far as data sharing as well as delivering ubiquitous data experience is concerned.
